1 mth ago, we were given adorable 1 1/2 yr old male BD. We were clueless but quickly fell in love with him. My weird question is regarding his feces. It’s dark green BUT it is always accommpanied by a longish white cylindrical substance. Can you explain this? Is it normal? Based upon your TERRIFIC info., we are taking him into a qualified Vet for a check-up, looking specifically for parasites.
Sorry for my late reply. It is completely normal for beardies to have green feces with some white substance. They eat a lot of greens, and it can make their feces green. The white substance for reptiles is from urates (pee); it is the same with birds. I hope your check-up went well! Thanks for liking my site!
